I’m Vikki Hill, Director of Learning Enhancement and Academic Development at Queen Margaret University, Scotland. My work is driven by a deep belief that education should be compassionate, inclusive, and transformative - creating spaces where every learner feels valued and that they matter.

As a Principal Fellow of AdvanceHE and recipient of the Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence, I’ve dedicated my career to approaches that put compassion, creativity, and belonging at the heart of learning. My research explores compassionate assessment, academic enhancement, and critical posthuman perspectives, all aimed at shaping more equitable experiences for staff and students.
